Wherever ordinary or extraordinary maintenance work is carried out: painting walls, laying wallpaper, building false ceilings, but also integrating furnishings or other work.

It is necessary, as far as possible, to clear the area in which you are working and adequately protect anything that cannot be moved.

The floor remains exposed to possible damage, from dust, to stains that are difficult to remove later, to irreversible lesions caused by falling tools.

Covering the floor with old newspapers, paper or cardboard rolls is certainly not the ideal solution: even a small amount of liquid can pass through the protective layer or insinuate itself into the joints, exposing you to the risk of slipping and easily causing tears in the paper.

Nylon sheets, although more resistant, can retain modest quantities of liquid, but at the slightest movement of air they swell, creating discomfort while moving around the room. In both cases, the floor is in no way protected from small accidents that can cause scratches or chipping, nor from the sturdy soles of work shoes worn in these cases.

Other sheets, although waterproof, are not anti-slip. Furthermore, they have an absorbent side which means that, once impregnated (for example by paints and/or solvents) they become special waste.

In order for the floor not to suffer damage, the protective layer must have a certain consistency and the joints must be limited and correctly sealed. The collected materials must be able to be differentiated and not join together and create new waste. The covering must be stable, waterproof and anti-slip.

The TAPPI KFC protective sheet is an ideal product for these applications: it is made with a layer of Acupuncture Cotton that is positioned on the floor quickly without the use of any product or adhesive tape, it is covered with a waterproof film, on the side positioned at the top, in Polyethylene that ensures the barrier against liquids and dust.

It is possible to reuse the sheet several times.

TAPPI KFC is Packaged in 50 m rolls, 100 cm high, and has a density of 180 gr m2.

Important

The TAPPI KFC protective and covering sheet is not suitable for newly laid floors, porous stone floors and terracotta tiles.
